Ranked Choice Voting / Approval Voting

Ranked Choice voting is a scam that is confusing, easily manipulated by machines, and makes it easy to conceal fraud. Approval Voting is the latest scam to perpetrate fraud on the voters. Both of these plans call for voting for multiple candidates. No more complaining about more votes than registered voters—it will be a given since voters will vote for more than one candidate. Jungle primaries are also a way to dilute the chance of 2 parties running in the general election.

Missouri had the opportunity to fix these scams. Had the state legislature passed Senator Carter's SJR28 Initiative Petition (IP) Reform bill, voters would have had an chance to say NO to these voting schemes.  All of which endanger the bedrock principle of “one person, one vote.”

Here is what our Jackson County Reps have to say about these plans:

  • Aaron McMullen, State Rep. District 20 (East Independence) - no response (he may be out of town on a trip. We hope he is against it.)
  • Jon Patterson, State Rep, District 30 (Lee’s Summit, part of Independence) — “I am opposed to Ranked Choice Voting.”
  • Dan Stacy, State Rep. District 31 (Blue Springs) — no response, but we are sure he is against it.
  • Jeff Coleman, State Rep District 32 (Grain Valley, Buckner) — “I am against Ranked Choice Voting!”
  • Chris Sander, State Rep, District 33 (Lone Jack, part of Blue Springs) — “I oppose ranked choice voting elections. I support our current electoral college voting system for President. I support Presidential preference primary election in Missouri in March, not April.”
  • Mike Cierpiot, State Senator, Dist 8 - no response

Hello Neighbor!

We are living in a very dangerous time for our country. This coming election in 2024 could very well be the last federal election we ever see. I am not overstating this danger. These leftists are not Kennedy Democrats, they are totalitarians who have taken over the Democrat party, and they crave power. They almost lost it all when Trump was elected. They barely hung on in 2020, and they do not intend to risk losing it again. If they can manage to win in 2024 by any means, they may never allow another election. We must make sure they lose!

‍      This same scenario has happened many times in countries around the world throughout the last 100 years. The leftists get elected by promising lies and committing voter fraud. Then they seize power by ridding the government bureaucracy of any opposition, thereby weaponizing the government against the Right. Then they begin threatening, crushing, and imprisoning their political enemies or anyone who stands up against them. We have already come this far. They are lawless bullies, but they are a little careful at the beginning because they want to appear legitimate before the masses. They know they can be tossed out if people find out the truth. This may be our only window of opportunity to remove them from power. Too many people are unaware of the danger until it is too late.

‍      We are currently on the brink of losing our unique republic. In order to prevent this disaster to us and our children, we need everyone helping. Please volunteer. It is past time to stick our heads in the sand or simply look the other way. We need all patriots to unite to save our country. The Left desperately doesn’t want you to see or understand what is happening. They say it’s about love vs. hate or about racism, but it is far from that. That is a smokescreen, a distraction from the real struggle for brutal power.

‍      What a joke that Democrats keep whining, “No one is above the law.” Of course that is not true. Hillary Clinton is above the law, and so is Hunter and Joe Biden or any of their cronies. Every agency in the government has been involved in covering for them. It is Donald Trump and the Jan. 6 political prisoners who have not been afforded their rights to equal protection under the law. This is where we are, and it will get worse if we don’t all get involved. You may be the next political prisoner.

‍      We need volunteers to knock on doors in their neighborhoods and pass out flyers, to be poll watchers and workers, to put signs in their yards, to work our booth at city festivals, to be politically active. We are currently trying to identify every conservative voter in Jackson County so that we can mobilize them to vote—please help us! If everyone will do a part, we can become an unbeatable force. Volunteer to be a precinct captain, a neighborhood organizer, or a block leader to spread the message and mobilize voters. Let us know if you are willing to volunteer.   Call the GOP Headquarters at 816-875-9690 or email editor@jacomonews.org.

‍      Be assured, it is much worse than you know. Will we have a free country after 2024? It’s up to you, my friend! If we lose, then our only hope for freedom will be a national divorce, and that quickly before it becomes impossible.

‍      Please share this message with your freedom-loving friends.

Someone at Fox News recently ran a chyron (banner across the bottom of the screen) that said “Wannabe dictator speaks at the White House after having his political rival arrested”—while Joe Biden was speaking. This erupted into a liberal and Fox brass frenzy and retribution against the staff person who did it. Listen to Tucker Carlson’s excellent response — Tucker Carlson (Ep 4, Wanna Be Dictator. This is fantastic and caused quite a stir.  If you are on Twitter, be sure to follow Tucker. He currently puts out a new video every Tuesday.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, an estimated 65,000 babies have been saved.

But Planned Parenthood still killed 374,155 babies in abortions last year

New Missouri State Law allows residents to list their political party preference. This is hugely important because it allows the parties to know who their supporters are. We need everyone to list their preference. Go to: Party Affiliation Form

fill in the blanks, print out the form with your changes, sign the form, and mail, fax or email it in.

  • Deliver it in person to the Election office at 215 N. Liberty, Independence, MO
  • Or, mail it to:  Jackson County Election Board, P.O. Box 296, Independence, MO 64051
  • Or, fax it to: 816-325-4642
  • Or, email it to: jceb@jcebmo.org

Right now the Jackson County Republican Committee is working on contacting everyone in the county and getting their party affiliation listed. If you help us, it will save us valuable volunteer time.

If you have not registered to vote or need to change your address, you will need this form —  Missouri Voter Registration Application  This is the voter registration form you can print out. Print 2-sided because the mailing address is on the back side.

New Missouri State Law bans texting while driving. Beginning Aug 23, a new MO law bans texting while driving, but allows hands-free calling. You won’t be stopped for it, but can be ticketed if stopped for something else.

Check out our new page on The History of the Democrat Party. You might learn something you didn’t know. Please share it with others who need to see it.

Supreme Court . . .

We weren’t aware of the far-reaching effects on religious liberty of the Supreme Court decision in the case of Coach Kennedy (a Christian coach praying on the 50-yard line), but it's pretty exciting! Please listen to this short clip. There is much to be thankful for for the supreme court justices that Trump gave us. We need to let everyone know about this new liberty.

Running for Missouri Secretary of State

MO State Senator Denny Hoskins, R-Warrensburg, is Running for Secretary of State. Current Sec. of State, Jay Ashcroft, is running for Governor, leaving that position open.

Hoskins

  • wants to make sure only citizens can vote in Missouri (not really the case right now).
  • wants to streamline the process to get small businesses registered.
  • wants to create an Office of Election Integrity. (though most of MO does well in elections, there are still issues in Jackson County and St. Louis County.)
  • supports paper ballots and voting machines (but can we be sure machines aren’t tampered with? What’s wrong with hand counting at each precinct?)
  • supports requiring voter ID and banning ballot drop boxes.

‍      All these sound good, but there are other concerning issues with Hoskins.

He did block the recent sports betting bill in the House, but that’s because he wanted more betting, not less. READ MORE

‍      Hoskins even had the gall to say that casinos should pay for any problems caused by sports betting, including compulsive gambling. That’s like admitting the state would be fueling this problem. He should care about all people in the state and not be allowing vices that cause addictions and harm families. That is the responsible thing to do. Will he risk harming people so the state can have a little more money?

‍      We don’t need a man with these beliefs to be the Secretary of State of Missouri. If he has low morals in the area of gambling, it’s obvious he is not led by the Judeo-Christian ethics this country was founded on and that have led us to be a great nation. We cannot be a state that God blesses when we elected leaders who go against what God teaches us to do and not to do. There are far-reaching consequences for every vice. We wrote to Rep. Hoskins and asked for a statement on gambling, but he didn’t answer.

‍      Others who are considering running for MO Sec. of State are:

  • Sen. Caleb Rowden, R-Columbia, Senate President Pro Tem (a RINO leader who blocked good bills for the people this past term)
  • Rep. Peter Meredith, D-St Louis

We can’t support any of these men for that position. We need to PRAY that another man or woman with good positions who cares about doing what’s good for the people will step up.

Everytime a Democrat is elected president, he seriously messes up something in the world — from FDR giving eastern Europe to the Russians, to Johnson sinking us in the Vietnam quagmire, to Carter giving away the Panama Canal, to Clinton’s NAFTA giving away our jobs to other countries, to Obama giving away the Crimea to Russia, to Biden planning to give away Taiwan to China, and this disastrous, bloody war in the Ukraine. Elections have consequences—sometimes for the world.

Good Memes . . .

Jack Smith has now added more counts because he realizes that the ones he had won’t work. By the way, the audio tape is another hoax. They can find NO evidence to back it up. Trump was spoofing the reporter! There was no plan to invade Iran. The tape won’t even be used in the prosecution.

You can have the very best life you could possibly have if you will give yourself to Jesus and let Him be in charge.

The Jackson County Republican committee

is working hard to get our message out to the voters. The Democrats will NEVER be able to give you prosperity. Their policies, which are counter to prosperity, are all about control, regulations, and power to the elite few, which also means no freedom for you. They’ll never be able to give you safety because they love criminals more than law-abiding citizens.

Join our email list — If you are not on the Jackson County Republican email list, you can help us keep in touch by going to jacomo.gop or emailing us at editor@jacomonews.org - and join our list. We NEED to hear from all right-leaning voters in order to make you aware of the news that the media won’t cover. In fact, one of the best things you can do to help get conservative Republicans elected is to join an email list. This helps us get out the vote on election day.
